Playing at the airport in Hong Kong
Craig's leg room on the 14 hour flight --Yikes!
Books and my frog chair!
Planes, trains and automobiles and we are finally home! Whew, what a travel day.
Kaitlin was a trooper! She did really good on the plane and we are so glad that we bought the extra seat for her... I can't even imagine holding her for 14.5 hours. She had a little trouble falling asleep because she likes to toss and turn before going to bed and the seat just didn't provide that much room. She slept from 9 -2 the last leg of the trip.
Chicago is where Kaitlin officially became a US Citizen, although the excitement was spoiled somewhat when we got to our check-in counter and our flight to Cleveland was cancelled ---UUUGH!
We eventually arrived in Cleveland at 8:00pm to find out that only one of 3 of our bags made it to Cleveland. We did not have good luck going in and out of Chicago this time.
Kaitlin slept the whole way home and didn't seem to mind the carseat. We stopped at Swensons on the way home to get some burgers for the road (this I regret, but they tasted good at the time). When we got home, the boy (Bogey our chocolate lab) was waiting for us , and fortunately he and Kaitlin bonded right away.
We will try to post some more photos in the weeks to come before I head back to work and I'm sure we will be out and about to see everyone.
Thanks for all your comments, love and support... it really helped us when we were homesick!
Love Craig, Traci, Kaitlin and Bogey

Welcome Home! We're glad you got back safely even if your luggage didn't make it. Now, the real journey begins as you raise Kaitlin. Good luck - you're in for the ride of your life!

Welcome back! I'm so glad to see you took the time to make a posting bright and early this morning...I thought about you all day and night yesterday. Call or email when you get back to a normal schedule.

welcome home, sounds like the trip home wasn't too bad (at least until you were back in the U.S.)...looking forward to following along on your journey as parents...
