Today I visted CCAA (The Chinese Center for Adoption Affairs), this is where our paperwork has been housed since September 2005 and they announced today that they have reviewed adoption applications submitted through September 2005. YEAH - that 's US!
What does this mean - well unfortunately we probably still won't travel until this fall but it does mean that paperwork is on the move. There have been many people jumping ship and shifting their adoption paperwork to a 'Waiting Child' (the Waiting Child program has children with known medical conditions - many of which are curable here in the states). With this shift we are hopeful that our paperwork will begin to speed up.
Please say a prayer for Baby McConnell (Kaitlin if a girl), Baby Alsept (Alexa), and Baby Bichsel (Annie.) Pray that they will be safe and that we will come to get them as soon as we can, their Families and extended family can't wait to see them.
